NVSP Portal | Voter Id Card Apply | Online Status Check


As we all know that Voting is a fundamental right of every citizens. And also it can be used as a Identity proof for many purposes like in Government Offices , Bank, Jobs apply etc.

NVSP is the unique portal which gives the facility to apply for new Voter Card, Amendments in Voter Id Card, Track the status of Voter Id Card and many such services.

Services Offered Under NVSP Portal:-



Registration Process for Voter Id Card on NVSP Portal:-
  • Visit the official website of NVSP.
  • Choose the "Voter Portal" option.
  • Click on this option, you will be directed to below page. Click on "Create an Account" option.

  • Enter the email Id.

  • A link has been sent on your email Id from Voter Portal end.
  • Open the Gmail Id and click on the link to activate your account.
  • As soon as you click on that link, you will be redirected to a new page asking you to create Password.


  • Create the password and enter Captcha Code.
  • Click on Create buton.
  • You have successfully registered on NVSP portal.

Eligibility Criteria for Voter Id Card Apply:-
  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Age should be 18 years.
  • Have no criminal records.
  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.


Documents Required for Voter Id Card Apply:-
  • Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card , PAN Card)
  • Address Proof (Electricity/Water Bill, Passport)
  • Applicant Passport Size Photo.
  • Birth Certificate (For Age Proof)


How to Apply online for Voter Id?
  • Visit the NVSP Portal.
  • Click on Login/Register Option.
  • Login the Portal with Email Id and Password.
  • Once you logged in, on the homepage you will see the option of "Fresh Inclusion/Enrollment. Click on it.

  • On the next page, you have to select the citizenship and State name.
  • Once done, Click on next button.
  • On the next page, you will see there are seven tabs :- Address, Date of Birth, Your Assembly Constituency, Personal Details, Additional Information, Declaration and last one is Preview.

  • Enter all the information asked in each tab.
  • Upload the relevant documents.
  • Finally click on Submit Button. You will see the below message on your screen.

Note down this reference Number. This will be helpful while tracking the application status.



Track the Application Status for Voter Id Card:-

One can track the application status of their Voter Id Card.
  • Visit the official website
  • Click on the "Track Application Status".
  • Enter the Reference Id and click on Track Status button.
  • Your application status will appear on your screen.
